Osceola County Statistics

It is a fact that our real estate market has too many distressed sales, either pre-foreclosure or homes that are already taken by the bank. It is also true that these prices are diving home values in a downward direction.. BUT, it is also true that the number of sales are up, up considerably… and that is what it is going to take to get the real estate market back moving in the right direction…

For example.. In May of 2009, we had 526 sales in Osceola County.. we have to go back to June 2005 to the last time we had that many sales (534). This number is up 64% from 12/2008, and 235% from 12/2007. The current inventory of home right now is 4573. This is down almost 1000 properties from 12/2009. Activity has increased. We are seeing multiple offers on homes. The sooner we can get the distressed homes out of the market, the sooner our values will begin to improve… ENCOURAGING NEWS!!!
