What a great neighborhood the Kissimmee Oaks Golf Community is to live in. Last night I attended our neighborhood watch monthly meeting. The subdivision has portions located in the City of Kissimmee and the County of Osceola. We had representatives from both the KPD & the County Sherriff’s office in attendance. It was reported that there was no criminal activity over the last month. Also folks in the community are active in contacting the police when suspicious activity seems to occur… and this is good because it prevents the small things from becoming big things.
Speed calming devices will be installed in the upcoming months. This has been a request of the neighborhood and the city has acted. The neighborhood watch committee was instrumental in this activity.
Both the Sheriff & the City police commented on what a good & active neighborhood the Oaks community has and that leads to why it is one of the safest communities in the area.
